After trekking around the shops at Trentham Gardens village I found an old favourite - Pieminister. Pies, mashed potato and gravy are perfect for a winter’s day. Lots of choice. The vegetarian Heidi pie (goat’s cheese, sweet potato and spinach), creamy mash and red wine...More

Now this is eating heaven. I know to many pies are not good for the waste line. However when you come across quality food like this stuff the diet. Not just pork but flavours you cannot image.the key is the first class crunchy crust.

I’ve rated my experience as average although that doesn’t do my visit justice. Visited with a group of work colleagues, very pleased with the swiftness of food orders reaching our tables. Polite staff, average surroundings. Don’t think that there are toilets on the premises, so...More

I bl**dy love pie and cannot get enough of Pieminister! The moo and blue pie as a mothership is to die for and my ultimate favourite. My only critique - if any - is that the seating areas need reupholstered and more seating is definitely...More

These pies are to die for; I first encountered them while working in Worcester and the King Charles II pub used to sell them. To find them locally is a very very bad thing....because they are so nice. The pastry is beautiful, the fillings (especially...More

I mean, firstly, it's a food-based pun. Which is amazing. Secondly, it's delicious. Who wouldn't want a pie on top of mash, covered in gravy, minted peas, crispy shallots, and cheese?! Vegan and gluten free options too, including vegan cheese. My only 1 criticism is...More

Pies were decent, pretty tasty. But potato and pease were lukewarm and bland. cups and milk bottle were all bit grubby and crockery was chipped Tables were not all set and everything just gone downhill

We came to pieminster having heard about the great pies. Who doesn’t love a good pie? We ordered 2 motherloads with 2 different pies and a mac and cheese side to share. The motherload deal is a pie, mash, peas, gravy, crispy onions and cheese...More

The service is quick. The place is rustic and that makes the ambience a lot better. There is a wide selection of pies and they taste good. They are filling, as well, not hollow.

These are amongst the best I've tasted. The Moo (steak and kidney) was delicious. Try some of the others if you are feeling adventurous. There is a GF option too. Recommended

The Trentham Estate is over 700 acres of landscaped garden and our Trentham café is situated in the retail village next door. With outdoor seating and a cosy interior it’s perfect for a pie-stop whether you are refuelling after a morning spent exploring the gardens or shopping in the village. Pieminister Trentham offers a wide range of tasty classic pies (there’s over 13 to choose from), a variety of gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan pies along with pastry-free skillets as well as tea, coffee and of course an amazing selection of cakes.
