Having eaten in other Gusto Pronto establishments I thought we'd try the food in The One Bull. Very, very impressed. For years I've always treated the One Bull as somewhere decent to have a few drinks however I will be returning to eat there more...More

Nice casual food, comfortably priced and good selection of pub "classics" slightly restrictive menu for vegetarians, however was informed by the (very good) waiting staff that if i call ahead in future they can be even more adaptable, which is lovely.

I was in a party of six who had dinner at The One Bull. I was particularly impressed by the option of having a 'flight' of 6 wines. I chose a red selection and each glass contained a generous taster size. The price I thought...More

Group of 6. Five out of 6 meals were very good. Fillet of fish and chips. Very small portion . Chips served in a bowl but there were only about 6 chips in the serving and the fish was very small too. Very disappointing.

Have been wanting to go here for a while, and in one week went for dinner and lunch! Dinner was good, with a wide menu choice, and fairly reasonable prices for the type of restaurant that it is. Similarly, the lunch menu was good, and...More

This was our second visit, pre concert so need to eat early and thus restricted choice as a lot of places not open at 6pm. But nevertheless this is a comfortable modern pub with a good menu, interesting choices and well cooked and presented. The...More

We have eaten at The One Bull a few times, and have never been disappointed. The food is excellent, and there is a lovely vibe to the place. My only criticism is that there is not much choice for the vegetarian of the family.

Our second visit to this pub. There's always a good buzz in here and is very welcoming. There's a great range of beer, we haven't tried the food yet but looks good.

Consistently good. Good service and food. Nice atmosphere and well set out. A bar area that does not have any impact on the restaurant although it is all open plan. The staff are always friendly and helpful. A good place to meet up with friends....More

Had a few drinks and lunch here as a group of 4. Great selection of local beers. Not much veggie choice and the one veggie main was a curry - the most expensive dish except for steak and a really small portion. Left feeling hungry....More

Description
We knowthat not everyone wants the same thing from a pub. You might want a pint of local real ale at the bar ... A bottle of wine and a grazing board on the sofas ... A meal in the dining room ... A really good coffee and a read of the paper ... Take your pick. If real ale is your thing, look no further. We offer our own Brewshed Best Bitter and Pale Ale plus a couple of guest ales. We're passionate about wine and have created an award winning list Which offers a selection of old favorites combined with some more unusual and quirky wines. The common theme is did we believe They Are all well made wines offering good value for money. Every single one of our wines are available by the glass (except some champagnes). On the food side, the emphasis is on good quality, seasonal produce and, wherever Possible, we source it locally. We love Sunday lunch and offer a great roast - bring the family or meet up with friends and catch up on your way. We're open from noon until late. So if you're in need of a locally roasted coffee in the afternoon, you know where to come. Free wi-fi is available Throughout the pub. What about the kids? Children are welcome in the bar before 6pm and 8pm in the restaurant but evenings are just for the grown ups. Our kids menu is Important to us. It is Aimed at children under 8 and each dish is freshly prepared. You can therefore order a roast pork or beef kids on Sundays. Where Possible, we are very happy to prepare smaller Portions from our main menu. Baby changing facilities, high chairs, activity sheets and crayons are available.
