Tried to visit Baileys tearooms today for a spot of lunch with my mother 2 children and newborn baby who was in a pram. The tearoom isn't the biggest building but there were plenty of available tables to sit at, after asking for a table the young girl said I will just check in the back, she returned to inform... Dropped in for lunch and despite having to queue for 15mins found the wait well worthwhile. I had the bacon and goats cheese burger which was extremely tasty and filling. My wife had the scones which she also stated were light fluffy and tasty. Large teapots provided ample tea. The staff were attentive and helpful and the prices reasonable. Definitely... More

Visited for lunch and opted for the Pork pie ploughman's special, absolutely delicious. I've been a few times and on each occasion been met with a great selection of daily specials and a sturdy regular menu. Service is always great and the setting really comfortable. Expect to queue if you arrive at a peak time, but in my opinion worth... More

Baileys 2 add the sparkle in Bury St Edmunds - edible glitter on their cherry and mint cheesecake. Wonderful. In the words of Oliver Twist, "please sir, I want some more"! A highly recommended Coffee & Tearooms. Thank you.

I have been here a few times and it has always been a pleasure. The food is always very good and well priced. But it is the staff that make it such a lovely place to come back to. Always friendly, polite and attentive. Thank you

I have been a few times and each time has been faultless. There was not much innately on the menu for two vegans I was with this time, but they accommodated by altering a salad -- which I'm told was very tasty. It has friendly staff, quick service, delicious food, wonderful coffee and all in a relaxed atmosphere; it rightly... More

Mid week lunch with a couple of friends. Have been to Baileys on numerous occasions and have always been served quite promptly, but not so last week, had to ask a waitress to take our order. Food to the usual high standard but I do feel that maybe taking out one table would create that little bit of space that's... More

The food and service is always fresh and tasty. We enjoy sitting in the front section as the rea can get very busy and a touch noisy. There are news papers to read although the service is usually prompt so there isn't too long hanging around to read them. Food selection is mostly sandwiches, puddings and cakes with one hot dish... Shame this is closed on a Sunday, have finally managed a Saturday visit. Great bacon sandwich, full of bacon. Well worth the wait.

Went here for the first time during the Christmas holidays. I can't believe I had never heard of it before, but was thoroughly impressed with my lunch. My partner and I had paninis, smoothies, crisps and a piece of cake. All of the food was prepared to a high standard and tasted great. The staff were friendly and my only... More
