Visited for lunch before the Races, food is tasty, good portions and some of it is homemade. Service was very good. Staff pleasant and pub quite traditional. Don't expect haute quisune, we didn't and enjoyed the food.

Went here for lunch while stopping with my daughter in Newmarket, quite busy, lovely food. They did need more staff but I noticed they where advertising and have now got 10 letting rooms.

I 'm not sure what the opening hours are during the week. We visited The Bell on a Saturday and pre booked for 7pm by phone.

The Bell Inn at Kennett is a Family run, Early 16th Century Haunted Coaching Inn Offering Fresh Home cooked English Food. Situated Just 4 Miles from The World Famous Horse Racing Town of Newmarket, it is an excellent place to visit before or after a Days Racing, or for people visiting The Sales at Tattersalls. In July 2016 a major refurbishment and the addition of 10 guest rooms all with en-suites was completed.
