Very good salad and one of the best latte' s I have had for a long time and all for an amazing price. Only missed 5 stars as lacking in atmosphere probably because so few customers. Not sure why as definitely worth a visit. Lovely view over river. Staff couldn't be more helpful or friendly.

I absolutely love to come here for lunch. I usually choose between a wide variety of sandwiches and or baked pototoes with delicious topping. Great location, light and airy with clean, colourful tables and chairs...including communal tables. Water and glasses always available. Try it and see.

We have visited the ymca cafe for many years but it has now had a makeover and changed into a canteen . Such a shame .we were there today and it was grubby and shabby already and the staff seemed disgruntled and disinterested . What a pity as it has always been such a lovely venue.

I decided to try this plaace only because I saw the sign so many times that I needed to check thet they really had an actual restaurant. Wow! It is not the cheapest but it's not too pricey, which I guess means it is just right! The food was surprisingly good and the restaurant is quiet and calm and overlooks... More

We had the whole indoor seating area to ourselves when we visited the Y cafeteria for breakfast one Wednesday morning. Too cold to sit outside overlooking the canalised river - but suspect it would be lovely in the summer. Large dining area , decorated in similar style to Premier Inn/Travelodge. We had a large coffee, a pot of tea, beans... More

Whilst in Guildford Town this is the place to go for a good meal that you will like. And relax in. The best thing is that you can see a selection of food ready to go or from a small menu get food prepared in their kitchen. To be honest any menu at a restraunt can have something on it... More

Have visited this cafe/ restaurant a number of times, as a member of the public and twice when I actually stayed at the YMCA. It does feel a bit like a school cafeteria or one of those old Woolworths Cafes, but the food is fresh, and tastes it! The staff are friendly, the tea/ coffee is actually hot not lukewarm... More

Spacious with nice river views. Nothing special about the food - self service. OK if you want a quiet place whilst shopping but it's not open in the evenings.
