This was a lovely day and throughout everyone associated with High Farm was helpful smiling and supportive. I just cannot thank them enough. We had a sunny but cold day. Plan A And Plan B gave way to Plan C which was suggested by Heather and carried out without fuss. Food was lovely and everything went as the bride and... More

We came upon the tea room by accident and were so glad to have found it. The weather was beautiful so we sat outdoors- first time this year. There's plenty of seats in a spacious area with toys & a slide for the children. The large pot of tea, and cakes, were delivered to the table by friendly helpful staff... More

Very warm and welcoming, lovely decor, in an old converted barn. This is an absolute diamond, the staff are all polite and friendly, the food was piping hot and you where allowed plenty of time between courses. We did the brewery tour which my hubby found very informative, ( I was a bit bored) Purchased a jar of mixed fruit... More

Firstly we would like to thank Heather and all her family and staff for going the extra mile and making our daughters wedding perfect yesterday, right from the initial point of contact nothing was a problem, the food, service, venue, and of course the beer were outstanding. Without exception everybody who joined us for Emma and Dave's wedding had nothing... More

Called here with my son for a light lunch after a country walk. We were greeted by Kath and after resting at the bar with our beers she showed us to a table in the restaurant. We really enjoyed our lunch (my son had a baked potato with beans, and I a ham & cheese panini). Both came with a... More

We have just returned from a truly wonderful experience. We would all strongly recommend visiting this place for the superb food, friendly staff and excellent service. We also did the brewery tour which was very informative and interesting as well sampling a few of the testy beers. If you are reading this review then you won't be disappointed if you... More

Two weeks ago we celebrated my son's wedding at High House Farm & Brewery. Heather and her staff were brilliant and everything was taken care of as we wanted. From the way the venue was set out and our guests cared for to the amazing food and the magical setting

We recently met up with friends for Sunday brunch and a tour - both were excellent. Food very good. Real ale - particularly Auld Hemp - delicious!

What a find! A little way off Hadrian's Wall but worth every step. Jenny and Straun are fine hosts and Straun is a fount of knowledge of the local area. We had two rooms, one of which was configured in an unusual way as you had to walk through the bathroom to reach the bedroom. Rooms were large and full... More
