Firstly, glad we booked ahead. Very busy on a Friday night so plan ahead. Good atmosphere and attentive staff on hand. The menu is rather different to the traditional Indian restaurant but there are some of the usual dishes on there. Up to you how...More

We've been meaning to visit dabbawal for a long time but never got round to it. Having just ran the great north run I really fancied a curry and this was the first place we thought of. The menu has lots of different dishes to...More

Good atmosphere, nice and warm on a cold night, good service. Food was very nice, chilli chicken and chicken chettinad with a nice roti. A nice bottle of craft beer I forget the name, but overall, a nice evening.

I really liked the food and the price was ok. a bit strange thoug that they take the paper menu placemat before your food arrives. The staf told us its their system to see who has ordered.

We are vegetarian and there were plenty of non-meat dishes. I don't know about the meat.
