Really lovely old building on the Quayside converted into a very well-presented pub. There is a large area of outdoor courtyard seating which I would imagine will be great in the better weather. We were only here for Sunday morning breakfast but the place was...More

We had a breakfast here in December so could not sit outside as it was too cold but I can imagine it's stunning in the summer sitting either in the courtyard or by the riverside. Breakfast was really good and cooked to the usual Wetherspoon...More

Bottom line; this is a Lloyds bar so set expectations accordingly. We are talking sticky tables and carpets but with cheap beer and food. The menu is the standard Lloyd’s menu, so its wide and varied. The steak night on a Tuesday is great value;...More

Great location by the quayside. There is a seating area at the back of the property which is good for groups and parties. Food was good with nothing to complain about. Good priced ales with a pleasant ambience. Bit of a walk from top of...More

Sunday night visit for a quick dinner. Usual JDW fare and cooked well at a very reasonable price. Good location by Quayside. Find a table away from doors in winter - gets cold in the draughts.

Had a couple of drinks only at the pub. It is ‘quirky’ and very inviting right on the quayside (as the name suggests) with seating to the front overlooking the river and a large courtyard to the rear. Drinks fairly standard as was the menu,...More
