In Newcastle to see Kevin Bridges at The City Hall and with all the family together we were eager to make an evening of it and the other reviews for this place swayed us to give it a try. Even though we were early dinners...More

The food is fantastic here! And the daytime menu is great value! The staff however were poor with a poor attitude! We also got deserts which were so bad we didn't eat them! But the starter and main courses were great! One of the nicest...More

A nice enough place but found the menu limited and the food no more than average. Probably may be ok for lunch, but don't think I will be rushing back on an evening. Think Sabatinis is better all round for an evening meal.

From entry to exit I couldn't fault the place. Paradiso staff were wonderful especially guiseppi. Attentive throughout, on the ball with drinks, incredible cocktails. Perfect pasta, orrichietti was delicious as was the gnocchi. Will definitely be coming back. Thank you very much for a memorable...More

This has to be one of the hidden gems of Newcastle. Tucked away of the main road it would be easy to miss but it is well worth seeking out. As you open the door and and begin to climb the short staircase you are...More

Paradiso Newcastle - NORTH EAST RESTAURANT OF THE YEAR 2016 As voted by the Food Awards England. One of those restaurants you'll discover by word of mouth rather than by walking past, Paradiso is a local family run restaurant that has been a mainstay on the Newcastle gastro scene for 20 years. Tucked away down Market Lane, Paradiso is a hidden treasure.

The restaurant is split into three main floors. The first floor, which is also the main seating floor seats up to 60, has a bar and a spacious outdoor terrace for alfresco dining. The second floor contains the open-plan kitchen and another seating area, which is able to seat up to 50. This floor is smaller than the first floor, but is still capable of holding large parties with ease, and again, we can accommodate parties of any size and number. If you require more privacy, our third floor is a private dining room which can seat up to 45. As this room features skylights, it is a bright, warm space and is spacious enough to be used for any kind of event, such as dining, presentations and so on.
