Third visit to Caffe Zonzo for supper and great food and service every time. It's relaxed and friendly but the service is excellent and the food is great value. Good choice, freshly cooked and delicious. If you want a great place to eat in Newcastle, leave the city centre and choose Caffe Zonzo. You won't be disappointed!

Oooh, the Vincisgrassi (mushroom and prosciutto lasagne) is to die for! Wonderful! We also had the antipasti platter to share, great value and very varied meats, cheeses and veg. Lovely, smooth chocolate fondant for dessert and a sensible size cappuccino. A lovely evening, thank you.

One of my favorite restaurants in Newcastle, the food is always fantastic, simple authentic Italian dishes served with a smile and a cheeky comment from Frank, always have a great time here, very relaxed atmosphere and reasonably priced too.

We ordered a flat bread starter, it was excellently crispy, good vibe. The 2 pastas, a special one with truffle oil, and one with sausages in it. Those were very nicely cooked, as they say in Italian - PERFECTO If you like thin and crispy pizza, this is great for you as well. The Napola pizza with capers was food... More

I came here with my flatmates which was meant to be a treat night (as students, eating out is rare!). Whilst two of our meals arrived and were very nice, one of the meals didn't. When we enquired about this we were almost accused of not having ordered it, when we definitely did and the waiter definitely heard as he... More

This fabulous restaurant was a most unexpected discovery in a mainly residential area. Warm, welcoming interior & warm welcome from staff. The menu is difficult to choose from, so many delicious dishes. The scallop & king prawn ravioli was amazing as was the bruschetta with goats cheese, grilled peppers & caramelised onions. Lush desserts included chocolate fondant & vanilla ice... More

Wow! We went to this lovely place on Tuesday evening [14th Feb!!!] with a friend who comes here quite regularly and we had an utterly beautiful meal. The food was superb, as was the excellent service, lead by Franco - it was attentive and responsive - nothing was too much bother for the lovely staff. One of the many superb... More

I only live round the corner from this place or I would have never come looking for food down sandyford way, however cafe zonzo was a very pleasant find. I've now been a few times and have got varying dishes from the menu. The price is very reasonable and they do a excellent lunch menu for a very good price.... More
