Stopped here for lunch on a circular walk from Kenilworth Castle. Staff very friendly and menu extensive (although we only had sandwiches). Dogs not allowed inside but outdoor seating very comfortable.

The inn has under gone a major overhaul and looks amazing inside and out. The origins of the inn go back to 506 Sqn, the RAF and WW II and they have maintained this with pictures and memorabilia from the original Inn. I could not fault the cooking of the steak it was cooked as requested through out. the family... More

Second time we have been within a month and each time the food has been of an exceptional standard, will be back, especially as we haven't tried the Italian menu yet. The owners are making a real effort and deserve to be supported. There was also a superb female singer entertaining us.

Five of us visited the Tipperary Inn for lunch. The staff were friendly and very helpful, making us feel most welcome. We had a selection of meals, and the sharing platter with steak, duck and chicken proved to be delicious and more than sufficient quantity for 2 large people, with tender meats and an interesting choice of vegetables. The wine... More

Visited the Tipperary Inn on a quiet Monday late lunchtime after a brisk walk from Balsall Common. Had heard of the makeover, and new management with proper kitchen and food. Was not disappointed in either quality or choice. Prices very reasonable, but maybe portions are a little too large! The lunchtime specials menu was popular with other diners, but we... More

We stopped in Sunday afternoon after our walk. We had a really lovely meal. The food was good and the portions great. Starters were particularly good. Pate and Squid. Unfortunately the service was not good. We had to interrupt a conversation between the staff in order to ask for a table. No menus were forth coming so I went in... More

Having never being here before not sure what we expected. We were not disappointed. The menu was varied with additional pasta and pizza menu available, enough choice for most people to tempt their taste buds. We chose options from the lunchtime specials which was extremely good value and portion size good, so good we dipped out on the desserts.

We have eaten here before but after our saturday evening experience will not be returning ! Manager took our order then returned 15 mins later to say had not got starter or two mains, we reordered then two mains served without sides and both fish dishes uneatable and had to be returned. Managers attitude uncaring, only saving grace was the... More
