Food great as you would expect from Michelin starred restaurant. A few things prevented it from being 5 star! We were the last table to be seated; right after we entered a table of 4 came in who were late - rather than attend to us first the 'late' table were taken care of which was a little annoying. Secondly;... More

Visited here this week for the first time full of excitement. Having been privileged enough to visit other Michelin starred restaurants in the region including Peel's, Carter's, Purnells and The Wilderness (not yet Michelin starred) in recent months, Turners on this occasion was well below the standards that the others are all delivering. One of our guests did not get... More

Early birthday lunch, we've been before and Richard continues to amaze, the red mullet soup was incredible as was the venison scotch egg my wife had, skate for the main course and that was also incredible, delicious, Washed down by a lovely bottle of Chablis. The puds were excellent and three courses for £25 in a Michelin starred restaurant I... More

This was not a good experience. Food not good and expensive for what we had. Service slow albeit friendly. Nothing about this evening was what we expected. Was this because it was Monday ? Very disappointed.

Quaint and tucked away, this place is perfect for an evening meal with business colleagues or friends. Harborne itself is upmarket and trendy, and the restaurant completely fits in. The staff are happy to help you however they can. The menu is expensive, but you receive what you pay for, as the food is delicious!

Turners At 69 has been, and still is, right at the forefront of the Birmingham fine dining explosion and continues to serve exceptional food, at reasonable prices in a busy, neighbourhood setting... I visited with my girlfriend yesterday and the set lunch was fabulous. A venison scotch egg, followed by pollock, followed by lemon meringue pie... A three course, Michelin... More

Food average. Service terrible. One waiter spilt my drink, did not change the cloth and I'm pretty sure didn't replace my drink with a fresh one after he took it back. The starters were good. Steak was average for the money, Miller and Carters is better. Very disappointed considering its rating. Needs to step up or it will be losing... More
