It would be easy to walk past this amazing restaurant and miss it as there are no signs visible until you are level with the front entrance. Once inside, the food and service were fabulous today, tasty and plenty for a lunch. We will definitely return!

I would recommend Jojolapa to anyone curious about trying a new food culture, anyone who loves Indian/Nepalese or just love good food. Great service and absolutely amazing food.

My wife and I went there for dinner last week, hoping to try some Nepalese dishes. Perhaps it was ignorance on our part but the menu consisted 99% of Indian dishes. Also, the restaurant had a strong smell when we walked in but luckily, this either disappeared or we went noseblind. Ordered Chatamari for starters which was nice and we... More

Excellent service from all staff, food was delicious, fresh, tender and the flavours fantastic. Really interesting blends of herbs and spices. Surroundings were lovely and very calm and comfortable for a quiet meal. However, we were early and the restaurant was certainly filling up as we left so best to book. We will return as soon as we can and... More

I went with a couple of friends for my birthday. I appreciate it was a busy night near Christmas (Thurs) but I felt we had to wait a long time for our main meal - about half an hour. The meal was tasty but disappointed with the service.

We visited here last week and there were four of us and we all had different dishes and everything was cooked perfectly so we all enjoyed our meals. We booked a table but didn't need to as there was no-one in there. It was a Friday evening and the Birmingham markets were on so it was full everywhere. Couldn't understand... More

Lively and busy restaurant with friendly, efficient service and deliciously authentic Nepali food - fresh ingredients interestingly combined - price very reasonable too. Good for vegetarians - Specially enjoyed the fresh okra and also the fresh paneer and the momos.

One of the best Currys I've ever had, we ordered a lamb saag and a chicken in garlic and chilli, it was absolutely perfect. The service was great, we were only in the area on business but would definitely return. Thank you

I have eaten here and enjoyed when working previously in Birmingham so it was an obvious choice for my first night. Food and service were excellent, second night was a Friday and my intention was to eat early in a pub, as packed I abandoned that idea. Decided that I enjoyed the previous meal sufficiently to return. The first night... More
