Visited Shahi Masala for a get together and had a wonderful experience. The new look of the interiors are really a positive change and the live food counters are absolutely first class. Service as usual top notch and staff very helpful and always willing to fulfil the requests. Will recommend this place as the ultimate buffet destination and will definitely... More

Was invited by a friend to try this place, upon arrival, noticed the service was more a fast food outlet type, whereby you seat yourself and get your own drinks. The decor was acceptable, however food was a disappointment.

Worst experience ever. I used to like this place but I will never come here again and I recommend you don't either. The manager overcharged me for staying longer than 90 minutes even though the place was not busy. He wanted to charge me an extra £300! A rate of £50 for 15 minutes. Which is absolutely ridiculous. There was... More

Living in Cardiff and getting tired off all the same places myself and a few friends thought let's get in a car and go anywhere. Birmingham was the destination. Got there and straight away started looking for a place to eat something. Quick search on Google and we found this place. Now the only thing that almost stopped is going... More

We have visited this restaurant many times, but since the new management have taken over the restaurant really had come into its own. The restaurant floor has been opened up and refurbished very well with new restrooms with excellent fittings, colour theme and ample private space and access for disabled patrons. The new layout is great and the soft drinks... More

Last night after a long time we went to the restaurant. We were invited to celebrate family wedding. About 150 people. Seated away from general public. Not crowded. Can move around and meet people easily. The buffet was huge variety. Personally I like the veg samosa, Chan'a bhatura, dhahi bhalay and chicken tikka. Beside these there were many more items.... Food isn't too bad but could be better. The service is very poor. The staff especially the management have no customer service skills what so ever. We used to go to this place a lot but it is just seems to be more run down each time we go. Won't be going back to this place again because we have... More
