Whilst the food itself in this place can be deemed quite tasty, the service provided is abysmal!!! Half of our starters sat on the front counter for ten minutes at least, whilst kitchen starters were completed - where is the communication between sections?? Needless to say the nachos were stone cold. Then you wait 40 minutes for your mains, and... More

My wife & I went on Fri 12th May and we both chose the half and half pizzas which were amazing. They beat Pizza Express and the like hands down for flavour and value for money. Can't recommend it enough. Will visit again. 👏

If you want a place to go for tasty food then this is the place to be, but its not a place to go for a beer with friends. I must recommend the pizza they do here, it come out on a welsh slate with your own pizza cutter mmmm. And if you can't finish it you can always take... More

Decided to walk to the local pub for a meal. The Hare and Hounds were full, so we wandered down to the Oak Tree. Not too busy and immediately made welcome. Food came reasonably quickly and we were very impressed, me with my rump steak and Jackie with her Gammon. Good value, and very enjoyable meal. Unfortunately as the evening... More

Visited the Oak Tree after an evening at work with my friend, was served by a very polite female named Louise, she served us with the greatest of respect and was well mannered. She even found herself involved with banter between myself and friend. Would be sure to recommend this place to Birmingham visitors!

We booked for a Mothers Day meal for nine and were seated in the basement function room on table 109. The place was heaving, but our table was ready for us and service was enthusiastic and positive. Servers were pleasant and cheerful. Meals were well received. Sirloin steak was good. Roast was good. The mixed grill was not as described... More

I have never visited this place in it's current form and will never visit again after a dreadful experience. I was in a 'Family and Friends' party of 18 which included 4 children between 4 and 10 and problems started when there was not an area for us all to sit together, even though it was an advance booking for... Have been a few times recently and have always had a good experience. The food is always delicious and cooked to a high standard, also really reasonably priced. The staff are always friendly too. They also have a vegan option of chilli on their menu which is great as not many restaraunts offer anything.

What a lovely day. Went for a walk around the duck ponds and up to the beacon and on the way back stopped off for a pint. Staff drink and surroundings were very pleasant, a good end to a walk and the food looked and smelt nice. Go for food their another day.
