A traditional pub, the New Inn is situated in the leafy Birmingham suburb of Harborne and has been listed in street directories as far back as 1845. With the help of a recent refurbishment we've spruced up the old lady. Quirky wallpaper from British designers, copper tabletops and funky accessories meet the old world charm of the original venue to create a homely and comfortable space perfect for unwinding with a nice pint of ale or delicious steak dinner. One of the largest beer gardens in Birmingham means that should the sun turn up we are ideally suited for its arrival. We hope you enjoy your visit.

Tonight was the first time I've ever had a problem with the pub (not-so-coincidentally after a new management take-over). The manager and employee at the bar were incredibly rude. I would recommend The Junction, The Paper Duck or The White Horse instead. RIP new inn.
We came here for a Sunday evening drink. They had stopped doing food so my friend brought a chicken pita to have with her drink. She was told she couldn't eat here so she stopped eating and put it away.... Ten minutes later the staff...More
Went here with my wife. Initially a bit apprehensive due to lack of other diners. However, when the food arrived we were pleasantly surprised, generous portions and well cooked.
Staff were friendly and attentive.
We will definitely be going back!
Not knowing the history of the Inn we decided to pop in for lunch today. I noted most of the other pubs in the village serving lunch were packed so was somewhat surprised to find this little corner spot relatively quiet. Jackie opted for the...More
After many changes in menu, staff, management and ownership this place always remains consistent.
Consistently bad that is. Do yourself a favour head further down the high street and spend your money in a place that cares about their customers.
Dropped in for lunch after dropping my daughter at University. The bar wasn’t over busy, and we were told if we wanted food there would be a wait as they had been very busy. I have to say everyone ordering food was sending their food...More
We decided to give this place another chance following the launch of a new menu. We regret this decision. Here’s a list of things I’d rather do than go back to the new inn:
-have an intimate wax
-punch myself in the genitals
It has a ‘new menu’ but can’t see any improvement! A group of us ordered food and despite being the only customers it took about 45 minutes for the food to arrive. I ordered a ‘grilled sandwich’ for £7ish pounds, it turned out to be...More
We attended around 3pm on Saturday 1st September and ordered food as soon as we arrived. At 4.20 we raised concern that we still hadn’t received our food and the waiter / in a leapordprint shirt, insisted that we’d only been waiting 30 minutes but...More
