We've seen this restaurant many times when we've been driving down George Street and thought we'd give it a go. We hadn't bored but they found us a table in about 10 minutes, and it was quite busy inside. It's a very large, and quite high-end decor, and the staff are very attentive and approachable. The king prawn tandoori starters... More

Visiting in a group of 10 on a Tuesday afternoon. The restaurant was literally empty, except for us. Despite this, it took about 15 or so minutes for them to seat us at the table. However, that was the only negative part of the experience and it wasn't even a big deal. I just didn't think it was necessary. After... More

The Rajdoot was highly recommended to me and I thought it would be an ideal place for us to eat but had I known the prices, I would have definitely reconsidered an alternative restaurant. There were 7 in the party and we ordered the usual types of dishes, nothing extravagant and two drinks each so, you would expect to pay... More

I was invited here by a business colleague who promised me "the best Indian food". As he is an Indian I was expecting something special but was left underwhelmed. We were greeted and then seated in the waiting area despite the restaurant not appearing busy - it was a Tuesday evening. Drinks arrived and food ordered and we were shown... More

For starters we ordered a mixed meat grill and vegetarian dishes. When the food arrived the meat and vegetarian dishes were served on the same platter. Being a vegetarian didn't expect to notify the staff before hand to keep these dishes separate - especially in an Indian restaurant....

Arrived fairly late on business and am used to restaurants saying they are closed or closing! Instead I was greeted by The manager Rohin and his colleague Jatinder who could not have been more pleasant and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble and the food was excellent. A refreshing change!
