We popped in for a few drinks in this modern snazzy bar. There were a good selection of drinks and they make a mean mojito. We didn't eat here but from what I saw the food looked really tasty. Definitely putting this place on my radar for the future

Great food, great service and reasonable prices too. I was looking for somewhere to take my team of 20-25 colleagues for a team lunch and The Rectory were happy to reserve a table for us and patiently wait whilst I sorted out all the pre-orders - which took so long the menu changed whilst I was still collecting them. They... More

Came here as part of a large group for a couple of drinks. A pleasant ambience in very nice surroundings. The service was good with a wide selection of drinks. The Moretti on tap was very nice - typical City Centre prices. Will definitely be back.

Great place, modern and the decor is fantastic. A little hidden gem at St Pauls place. I was taken by friends and it was great. I recommend.

I came here on Wednesday with friends for lunch. The service was great and the place is very nice. The food looked amazing - I ordered the steak main. Unfortunately , the food was lukewarm (eventually went stone cold) so I had to eat it very quickly. I also asked for my steak to be medium-rare and it was well... More

Met friends here for my partners birthday surprise lunch. Few drinks and a yak in unhurried environment. Food ordered was excellent. Good service too. Lovely location on St Paul's Square. Nice to watch the weddings as well. Great chilled atmosphere. Moved on to Colmore Row after as catching train at Snow Hill and bars much busier/noisy. Definitely be visiting The... More

I quite often drop into the Rectory for a drink on an evening but hadn't tried the food! MY MISTAKE....The restaurant was quiet but this bore no reflection on the quality of the service or the food which was really very good, Service was quick and the food was beautifully presented. My partner had the duck breast and I has... More

I was recently visiting family near the jewelry quarter, so i decided to visit the rectory as it has always been a favorite of mine. The choice of drinks on offer was great with a great selection, especially the craft bottle beers! We then sat down. For a saturday night the restaurant was not busy so i was a little... More

Group of 6 of us for my sister's birthday. The decor and service were fantastic it has to be said. The trouble came to paradise when we ordered the pork loin. It was a strip slightly larger than a Bic biro and was gone in 60 seconds. If I was eating as a couple I may have moaned at the... More

A lively bar- very helpful staff when we asked if they could find us a table to eat - we were then offered the chance to move downstairs where it was quieter. Good range of drinks- cocktails beers and wine. Good range of menu options too from light to substantial. We chose the fishcake and scotch egg as starters and... More
