Had a very good breakfast. Poached eggs were cooked to perfection. Very quick service. Reasonably priced. Realised when I went upstairs to use the ladies that we could have eaten upstairs which had a nicer atmosphere at breakfast time

Very busy place, not entirely well cleaned. Menu choices are classical Wetherspoon so pub food etc. Very good value for money. Service was fast despite the place being crowded. I had bangers and mash which was good.

Thanks for the feedback Andreas. We strive to constantly keep the pub in tip top condition but obviously this can be challenging at peak times! We're all happy to see bangers and mash back on the menu. Hope to see you soon. Kind Regards, Stuart

Its a typical wetherspoons pub, good food and drink at a great price. Regularly come here for lunch or at the start of a night out because of it.

This Wetherspoon pub is split over two floors, a bar/ dinning areas on the ground floor and a large dinning area on the first floor. We have a large entrance allowing ease of access. We provide a relaxed environment and are welcoming to everyone including families. Our name is taken from Leofric, Earl of Mercia, who founded St Mary's Priory, Coventry's first cathedral. A larger-than-life statue of Leofric and his wife, Countess Godiva, can be seen above the main entrance to the council house, opposite this pub.
