Inside are nice little private booths and authentic decor, not the biggest places but it's warm and welcoming not poky at all. Loads of character. Staff friendly and attentive. Service quick and polite. The food is some of the best Indian I've had. Very good portions and good selections of wines. Will be going again!

Nicely decorated restaurant. Food well presented and tasty. Not really a restaurant for children but they put up with ours fine. Quite expensive but was good value for a fine dining restaurant.

What a jewel! Gorgeous quaint surroundings. Delicious food, beautifully presented. Very attentive service. Have been 5 times in the last 6 months! Only downside is that it's a bit pricey.

Set lunch menu was £12.90 including half pint of Cobra glass of wine or soft drink. Service good (perhaps could have been a bit nippier for a lunchtime). Food excellent (although a salad garnish for curry and rice was slightly unusual). The choice of dishes were good, and moved outside standard fare of tikka masala, balti and korma etc; and... More

Beautifully presented food in a beautiful building. A shame we were put under pressure to leave as they had rebooked the table!

This is not your standard 'Indian'. The food is very good and beautifully presented. Rice in pyramids, chilli flower garnishing and so forth. The mains were quite pricey but generous. Accompaniments were fairly usual prices. Decent Indian desserts too: wonderful, succulent carrot halva. But the main difference to a typical Indian lies in the service. Many little service touches which... More
