Re Horrible Lunch Thank you for your colourful review of your experience at the Railway, please allow me to reply but not with your aggressive and abusive manner. Firstly I would assume that anyone who had been to an establishment three times and not been...More

Very disappointed in the Railway last night. Ordered steak strip in pepper sauce with rice. Was told they had run out of rice. What restaurant runs out of a staple like rice?? Had to have it with chips. Ruined my meal.

Visited the Railway as a change of scenery we ordered the gammon, what a great meal cooked to perfection. The only negative was the very noisy customers stood at the bar, which spoiled the meal,so it will be a while before we visit again.

We’ve dropped in a five times now and as ever the service and quality is superb, it doesn’t matter what is ordered as we know it will be top notch. Staff are nice and friendly too.

I would have given it top marks but the Etan Mess was lacking in strawberries, and at £4-40 a dissapointment. the refurbishment they have done is great, but the toilets still need updating.
