We decided to eat our lunch here as a wedding anniversary treat and whilst Christmas shopping in Leeds and were delighted with the food. The staff were very pleasant and our waiter, Ross, was most attentive during the meal even though he was constantly busy...More

There was huge confusion on arrival and no table ready owing to a ‘large table of 14 needing to move’ which set the tone for the evening. The service was appalling and our waitress over familiar, condescending and less knowledgeable about the menu than is...More

Dear Victoria, thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. We are very proud of the food and service we provide here at Brasserie Blanc, so it is extremely disappointing to learn that we have got something so wrong during your visit. I...More

Had Sunday lunch for my husband’s birthday. The staff were lovely (a French native and an English woman) and their attention was spot on. They didn’t rush you and didn’t make you wait. The food was excellent and the two wines we had were perfect,...More

Had not been for several years but needed a location midway between Sheffield and Skipton - so, on the basis of recent reviews, decided to renew our acquaintance. The menu needed to cater for a wide age range plus some allergies and dislikes - which...More

Friday afternoon, virgin voucher. The menu was surprisingly attractive - as sometimes voucher menus can be a bit boring! We had the option of choosing from other menus as well, yet the cheese souffle and crispy beef for starters sounded ok, and we both fancied...More

Visited with Friends on Saturday night. Lovely environment and great service. Food could have been better though. Mushroom starter needed more sauce or seasoning. Steak was well cooked but again a bit more seasoning would have been good. Overall a nice experience

Great restaurant, great food, visited many times but a little annoyed this afternoon by being treated like a five year old when trying to make a phone booking! I rang and politely asked if there were any tables and was greeted by a brusque young...More

Had lunch in this interesting (from a historical perspective) space last week, Really good service, well presented food and I believe the fixed price menu is good value. Not easy to find if you don't know Leeds well, but worth the search!

So dark in here that couldn't read the menu until some of our party altered the spotlights. When I'm eating in a "French" restaurant I like to begin with a pastis (or two!) when asked the waitress for one she didn't know what I meant,...More

Our converted Victorian mill on the river is full of character and atmosphere. We are open for breakfast weekends from 9:00 am until 11:30 am. Our full a la carte menu is served from 12:00 pm. You can also enjoy our superb value seasonal Menu Prix Fixe. Monthly changing to ensure you always get the best that nature has to offer, a two course lunch is available until 6.30 pm Monday - Saturday at £11.95. Our separate bar area opens from 11 am until midnight every day and until 11:30 pm on Sunday. We have comfortable sofas and armchairs to relax after work. It is the ideal place to have a little nibble to keep you going, such as our charcuterie board or our cheese board whilst enjoying a selection of handcrafted local beer, cask ales or our 5 o clocktails (available Sun-Friday). It is the perfect place to unwind after work. We are the perfect spot for an authentic French meal. Al fresco dining overlooking the water is a must for fine days so pop by for a beer or for superbly cooked seasonal dishes inspired by the food of Raymond Blanc's childhood. Chez nous!
