I use Nash's quite often and never had a bad fish. The chips they serve are OK, had better but far from the worst. Gluten free option is available for battered fish which includes the extra large fish if you are really hungry. The service isn't always the best, several times I've had problems with my orders not been right... More

See below review. Food nice. Service appalling. Only people in and staff more concerned with gossiping. No check back on food. Tried to force us to buy pudding when we said no. Told how much bill was and not given it.

Fish and chips were fabulous with a portion of mushy peas!!!Lots of steps to climb and lacking in atmosphere, stuck in a bit of a time warp and badly needing a refurb!! Service was adequate.

Took the opportunity on a whirlwind visit to Leeds, to stop off at Nash's. It was a place we often visited with family when I was younger. Having moved from the city some years ago I wasn't even sure it was still running but very pleased to see it was. A trip down memory lane for me didn't disappoint. Battered... More

Me & 7 friends had a lovely meal followed by delicious ice cream before the theatre. It was really enjoyable-the food was hot and fresh & more than plentiful-service was excellent and was all good value for money. Thanks for another great visit xx

Looking for somewhere to eat before going to the Leeds Grand Theatre we found Nash's just around the corner. We both ordered fish chips and mushy peas and found it exactly as you would want. Lovely fish with crisp batter, hot chips and peas. It is very filling so we couldn't manage any pudding. I'd recommend it.

If you've never been to Nash's in Leeds it's well worth a visit. It is tucked way in the Tudor buildings at the bottom of Merrion Street with a Take Away to the rear and another entrance to the restaurant. I don't eat fish and chips that often but would always come to Nash's as the fish is good, and... More

I can't believe I have lived in Leeds for over 53 years and never been here before. I started with a prawn cocktail, straight back to the 70's eh! Okay so it's not haute cuisine but it was a great start. No probs from me. I went for the classic haddock, chips & mushy peas, a match made in heaven.... More

4 of us went recently before seeing a show at the Grand. We only ended up there because everywhere else was full due to a show at the Arena, but what a great place! Service was down to earth and friendly, food was good value and very tasty - especially the fish and chips. Next time we're looking for somewhere... More
