We've been on a few occasions for a meal, but this was our first visit on a Tuesday. Everything was as normal, a good meal at a fair price. Tues, however is a ' 2 for 1 ' offer on a restricted menu. We had to eat what we had on our last Friday night visit. Yes the price was... More

We were a group of four visiting this pub on a Tuesday evening as they had a 2 for 1 offer. I was surprised to see that the offer applied to a wide variety of dishes, which gave us a good range of choice. We ordered the fish and chips, the seafood pie and the cheese and bacon burgers. The... More

Stopped in here for a spot of lunch after a country walk. Staff very friendly and beer excellent. The food was great, exactly what you want from a country pub. The boy had steak pie which was rammed with tender and tasty pieces of meat. I had the warm beef and onion sandwich. We shared a bowel of chips and... More

Had a really good meal here on Thursday night. Great service from Karen and her team and the food was really good. Great individual pub atmosphere too, which is hard to find these days.

This is a lovely old quaint pub with lots of atmosphere. We went to try the Sunday lunch after it had been recommended. My companion choose pate to start & said it was very good, just needed more toast. I had a pig cheek thing which was different & good. The main event - beef very good plenty of it... More

After many visits over the years when touring Yorkshire myself and my wife came to visit the Bingley arms on Sunday! As always we was greeted by your polite and professional staff, quickly seated to our table, given the menu and served our drinks! Although I was a little disappointed to learn that there was no lamb shanks available. After... More

Worst afternoon tea ever. See other peoples reviews for details. Never again. It wasn't just that they were short staffed. The quality of the food and the tea was dreadful

Disappointing and how the slice of Victoria sponge can actually be thinner than a slice of bread beats me. Crockery and cutlery were dirty and got the smallest pot of tea for two which should have really been for one. Cream tea should have clotted cream not whipped and the sandwiches I'm guessing were made in the morning as they... More

We were sat in the bar area at the far end of an empty room on the smallest table so one of us had to face the wall, no idea why we couldn`t have joined other diners upstairs, the waitress brought our tea with an open jug of hot water as soon as we sat down , 10 minutes later... More

We enjoy afternoon teas and we rated this as being high up in our top ten......Lovely freshly cut sandwiches with an assortment of fillings, pork pie, pieces of cake and of course the obligatory cream scone with clotted cream and jam. The scones were served warm and truly delicious. I was particularly impressed by the fact that when we booked... More
