The pub is awesome, the location is great but the food was not at the same level and the starters were not a decent portion..

With beautiful roaring fires and a good selection of beer this cosy pub has a relaxing atmosphere that makes you want to stay all night. To the everyday traveller you would walk right past this establishment, my advice is to stop when you get there...More

Still very nice after being closed for a little while. Done away with the seating booths which added character but still have decent beers and a nice warm fire in the centre. Friendly and engaging staff.

Was hoping that this pub was going to live up to the standards that it used to have but the food was really disappointing. Nothing like it used to be. The beer however was lovely and the staff great.

Was here because I was looking forward to seeing what the new menu could offer. The food was adequate and the drink ok but it wasn't as good as it used to be.

This is a large, pleasant, clean bar. On a Wednesday lunchtime in January it was empty and rather soulless. The beer was kept well but very unexceptional.

A great pub so glad it's reopened, and it now has food too! One thing I'd suggest to the owners, maybe dim the lights a little? They're a little cold and harsh. But apart from that a great place with lovely beers and amazing food....More
