We went last Sunday afternoon - quite late for a Sunday and was delighted to find they serve all day. We had a nice table in the library area and enjoyed a good, honest, Sunday dinner. The young man serving us was particularly pleasant and...More

The food is good here. They offer the classics, but also some more contemporary dishes. The staff are great. It is good value for money and offers a good ambience.

Returned to the Wheatsheaf for the first time this year, disappointing customer service and average food, although there is a wide menu of full meals and lighter lunches. Ordered the feta with aubergine sandwich, which was served with rocket and beetroot in a very dense...More

The Wheatsheaf serves delicious food and drink from a varied menu. It is ideal for either a quick drink or a leisurely meal and the service is always excellent.

After lots of instant coffee in England, the drip coffee at the Wheatsheaf was a welcome change. Bright and fruity, it went very well with the toffee candy on the side. The food was excellent, large grilled gammon slab, my friends appreciated the burger, and...More
