Situated alongside the River Avon slightly out of the city, and next to a large car park this cafe/restaurant seems to be in a great location. We were greeted upon entry to the cafe and shown to a table overlooking the river. It was a pleasure to watch the swans go back and forth feeding on the bottom of the... More

First visit to the quaint place of Salisbury. Had a good walk around and came across this place. Beautiful setting right next to river. Just had a drink place quiet but staff were polite and friendly. Didn't eat here so can't comment on food.

Unfortunately I saw nothing of the lovely food pictured in other reviews. My large party of family and friends saw only reheated, previously frozen and poorly presented food. AVOID!

We had a late dinner there and it was a mistake. We arrived at 8:30 pm after a Stonehenge tour and the place was almost empty on a Thursday night. There were only 2 employees remaining - the cook and the waitress/bartender. The food was unremarkable, and we felt like it was a bother to them for us to arrive... More

This is a modern and minimalist to an extent. The setting is calm and the food good. Their 'Fish & Chips' is a rare treat.

This pub should be a great venue, but has the feeling of being unloved. We turned up at 4.30pm on Sunday afternoon, we were the only customers. It took several minutes to get noticed. My girlfriend wanted a blackcurrant and lemonade, whatever cordial used it certainly wasn't blackcurrant.

Had a day in Salisbury and of all the lovely eating places in this town decided to lunch here because of the location over looking the water. Well we should of gone elsewhere. I had a ham baguette with a side salad and a few crisp . Ham was a good Ham but was let down the way it was... More

My friends and I tend to meet here for coffee quite often at lunchtimes. And today we decided to eat lunch. We fancied just a basic Ploughman's. So a bit of salad, ham, cheese and a crusty baguette, didn't think it was too much bother just because it wasn't on the menu. But we were turned down!! Very disappointed!

Good atmosphere in this restaurant/bar that has a great view of Christchurch Harbour. I met up for an evening meal with two of my girl-friends on a nice summers evening. We had a good meal and friendly service. Informal dining and good quality food. I had the burger and it is one of the best I have tasted. I will... More
