We have visited this Harvester before and enjoyed a light snack then. We decided to eat here on our first evening and enjoyed a main course with unlimited salad and the dessert special. Our main courses were fish and chips with garden peas and spicy...More

Super review .... just like the sundae

No idea about hygiene. Photo shows how staff behave in front of customers. Just basic. Why do staff have to eat and drink in the bar anyway?

This restaurant, like most harvesters, is intended to be cheap and cheerful. I get the sense it is cheap, by the overcooked plastic food and lack of hygiene, but none of the cheer. They are at least reliable; there will always be something missing from...More

After spending 3hrs in a vehicle and another 3hrs to go we all wanted some real food, instead of overpriced service grub. This was my first visit to this Harvester. Friendly helpful staff but service was a bit on the slow side. Harvester is a...More

Nice staff and food, but a filthy place to go and eat..grime and dirt on toilet doors is disgusting. The gents toilet was filthy and smelt badly.

I'm sorry that the old tired toilets are a let down. A refurbishment is badly needed of the facilities as they are probably no longer fit for purpose due to excessive numbers of visitors and age.

This site is a credit to the brand. I have visited it many, many times over the last 5 years, 95% of the time to dine. The staff are efficient, helpful, friendly and polite. 95% of the time the food is excellent and cooked to...More

I have used a lot of Harvester restaurants over the years. The menu here is obviously the same as all the other Harvester restaurants. I found the Staff very friendly and helpful - it was half term, full of kids with their parentsand rather than...More

We visited whilst staying with family in the city and to be honest we were unimpressed with the place. We ordered food, only to have the waitress return to put table 10 mins later to say some of the bits were unavailable. When our food...More

I can only assume that this review relates to the weekend just passed. I must confess that we did get caught short during the tail end of a busy half term week, placing ourselves in the highly unusual circumstances of running short of product. I'm...More

Having had appallingly long wait to try to get a table at the nearby Hampton Inn we cancelled and went to see if we could get at table at the Harvester, my daughters favourite restaurant. The service from staff couldn’t be more different. We were...More
