The George Inn is a traditional English pub in the heart of Eton with a view of Windsor Castle. It has an extensive menu available to suit everyone's preferences and also a full bar available. All ages are welcome here in a group of any size - dogs too! Whilst the sun is out enjoy a drink in our large garden. We also have 'The Hop House' available to hire out for private functions!

We have been eating at the George for many many years and have seen it’s wonderful rise from a place that was searching for a purpose (when would a pub EVER run out of gin eh?) To a fresh a and vibrant hostelry.
My husband and I were staying close by and came into the bar for a quick drink and appetizer. The service was excellent and the food was very good. They had a bunch of tables outside and it was a beautiful evening to be out....More

Not sure if this question was solely for me, because I am not the person being addressed. I have reviewed The George before and had frequented it several occasions. I have never itemised dishes we ate nor mentioned items on the menu. However we were always impressed with the food when eaten there. It's not fine dining restaurant, it's a pub and restaurant, with very good atmosphere and ambience. I will go back again and recommend the place to other people.
