Great local place that is everything I think of when I think of what an English pub should look like, except the food is significantly better. There were 2 of us and both meals were a double thumbs up. 8-10 beers on tap (sorry I cannot remember) but several well known brands to choose from. The Alma is dog friendly.

I went here with my daughter and her children on Christmas Eve, the pub has a 'Dickensian 'feel to it. It's very homely, the staff are very welcoming and friendly, the food is absolutely amazing as it the service. Theyre very professional, the portion size of the food makes excellent value for money. I'd definitely recommend this venue and will... More

We went with friends to this very welcoming pub. Very nice place and the food was good, wholesome and well cooked. I felt very relaxed and even had a visit from Admiral- the pub dog. Tucked away from the centre - The Alma is a nice establishment which I would recommend you visit.

Never been to this pub and thought the sat nav had a moment as you wouldn't expect to find such a great quirky locals local in this little residential road outside Windsor town. How lucky local residents are to have such a homely pub you could easily spend all day in! Great friendly atmosphere, lovely staff, huge roasts and lovely... More

We had dinner at The Alma on a Saturday night. We made a table reservation about an hour before we went. This a local pub way off the routine path in Windsor. It is truly a local pub. The atmosphere is 5-star!! It is extremely laid back and relaxed. The Pub Dog is an every friendly Scottie. There were numerous... More

visited the Alma again this week. this pub has an amazing atmosphere and is quirky with its vintage style theme. Found out you can actually buy the ornaments and wall hangings. Result. Food again was amazing. Had a good laugh with Sophie the chatty bar maid.

5 of us went to the Alma today for their Sunday roast, and all enjoyed it. The staff are welcoming and very, very helpful - nothing seemed to be too much trouble. The roasts...well, huge portions in the large size and very tasty food, crispy and crunchy roast potatoes - which is the deal-breaker of a roast! Will definitely be... More

You'll find The Alma just 5 minutes walk from Windsor town centre tucked away on a charming Victorian red brick terraced lined street. We are a traditional English pub serving a range of beers, ales, fine wines and great food....The size of our portions are legendary. We also have the largest beer garden in Windsor, great for those hot summer days and evenings, should we see them! We are conveniently located for Heathrow, the M4 and the M25. The Alma is full of antiques and collectable's including: furniture, paintings, pictures, mirrors, ceramics and interesting knick-knacks We also have a collection of rare film posters and are constantly adding interesting and unusual items to The Alma. It's like pubs used to be and, in our opinion, should be.
