Saw lots of good reviews and decided to try this pub after a morning touring Windsor Castle. The interior is very historic and quite cozy. The server was attentive and friendly. However, the food was not good. Our party had rabbit stew, quiche, sausages, and vegetable beef soup and all of the dishes were average, if that. Food didn't taste... More

First the bright spot. Service was cheerful, attentive, and excellent. As for drinks, it is difficult to fail to pour from the tap. Having read glowing reviews we expected at least standard quality pub fare if not better - but the food was much worse, and very expensive considering what was served. The previously prepared hamburgers and fish were just... More

My husband and I loved the pub. The home made food (fish pie) was delicious...the place is charming, cozy and warm. You feel like in the 1800s. it´s very romantic if you seat in front of the fireplace. The attendance was spetacular. They do what they can to make you feel comfortable and satisfied.

Food was good. Service was excellent - prompt, friendly and jovial. Sat outside to eat. Tables and cutlery were clean. Menu good for the kids too. Great view of Windsor Castle.

In terms of grub its pretty basic fare. The peas and carrots are frozen and the gravy Bisto. However, the setting is among the best in Windsor. The wood panelled walls, funky floorboards and raging fire make for a special atmosphere. Go here for a pint, but side-step the food. The opening times here are intermittent which is such a... More

After a pleasant morning at the sales and being turned away by the surly waiter at the Duchess of Cambridge, we were so fortunate to stumble across The Drury House. We were warmly welcomed, quickly seated and served a fabulous tasty lunch very quickly. We both had a supremely succulent steak and kidney pudding with all the trimmings. Easily one... More

The Drury House has been operating as a wonderfully cosy restaurant for more than 65 years to my certain knowledge. In all that time it has never failed to provide excellent fare in a captivating historic environment. The 17th-century panelled walls and original timber staircase up through three floors perfectly complement the good traditional English food which is most reasonably... More
