I Visited Snowshill Arms today for lunch. A good variety of pub lunches and drinks available. I had a jacket potato with tuna mayo garnished with a good helping of salad. Very tasty and plenty of it for a reasonable £8.50 in real "olde worldy" surroundings with a log fire. My companion partook of chicken and chips garnished with a... More

Lunch for 2 on a Wednesday in March;visiting to check out an 'English Country Pub' for some friends visiting shortly.Staff very welcoming (even made up a drink for me from a recipe used at local Golf Club!) I ordered Faggots,my wife had the Camembert;food arrived suspiciously quickly, hot, plentiful and boring!! Extensive 'pub grub'menu of all the usual favourites but nothing special.... More

Dropped in Saturday lunchtime for a quick drink whilst out walking. We sat in the TV area and in front of the log fire to watch the rugby. There were four or five tables but told that we couldn't sit in this area as it was reserved for locals. Maybe I could have talked to the "locals". Maybe they could... More

While touring the area we popped in here for a hot coffee and wonderful bowl of Parsnip soup. It was a cold, rather damp and wet February day, so were pleased to see this place with it's friendly atmosphere and the warmth of a fire. A real country pub and obviously very popular. It is close to Snowshill National Trust... More

This is a fantastic example of a proper pub that's friendly, does great beer and tasty food. Not to be missed in my opinion, best pub in the area by far.

We had been on a long walk, and were tired. The lady behind the bar told us that we'd missed lunch, which was fair enough - though she was a little brusque. We had drinks and crisps, and needed to order a taxi. When we asked for a recommendation she said, in a rude voice - there's no way you're... More

We were visiting Snowshill Manor which opened at 1pm so called in for a drink first. The staff were friendly and helpful and served our coffee and drinks at the table. The log fire and cosy atmosphere was very appealing as was the menu. However we did not stay for lunch as the pub closed in the afternoon. Will certainly... More

We visited this pub to have lunch on a Saturday. It was very busy (a good sign) but we managed to get a table. The food was excellent, the staff were really friendly and incredibly helpful too. My brother had just moved to the village and needed details for a plumber, oil supply and log delivery. The staff (Jess) were... More

On the way to the Lavender fields, one will find this family-friendly local pub. Old, yet charming and full of character. Serving a good choice of food. Great place for walkers, who want to drop in and have a bite to eat, or sit by the open fire in winter and just enjoy a drink. The pub is very close... More
