My family and myself have been visiting Anupam for years and years and have never had a bad experience here. The food and service have been impeccable each time and we always look forward to returning. Each authentic dish is of the highest quality and value for money, and is always served with a friendly smile. We would highly recommend visiting.

We have been dinning @ the Anupam for many years & have always been very happy with food & service. Alas with the Covid 19 we have not been able to sit down in there restaurant for a few weeks now. The Anupam has catered mainly for sit down customers & Collect only for takeaways. But they have tried very hard to keep things going as best they possibly can during these testing times. They now have resorted to doing a delivery service as the restaurant is now closed,as to conform with government regulations. They have hit the road running , the new delivery service is very new to them but they have strived to do there very best still concentrating on serving great quality food at a very reasonable price. We have had 2-3 meals since the Pandemic & every one has been superb The food quality is still second to none The Anupam has really stepped up to the mark. Not to mention the meals they have donated to the NHS & are also helping out the care homes. I think the Anupam s deserve a huge round of applause as well as the other key workers. Well done the Anupam, still serving the best food best quality ....... A Credit To Malvern

We were staying at The Abbey Hotel for my wife's birthday but their restaurant was not open due to Covid19. At 6.00pm on Monday 3 August the MaitreD' at Anupam showed me he was fully booked, but offered totry and fit us in at 8.45pm. We were greeted with smiles and shown to a window table with a view to the Abbey. Service was pleasant and helpful and the atmosphere relaxed. We particularly liked the real orchids adorning the room. The meal was delicious (I had goat). We shall visit again when next in Malvern. A nice surprise was the discount of £10 per head from the Government to help the restaurant trade which I had heard of but forgotten all about. We had dined at a nearby Italian chain the evening before who not only did NOT apply Boris' discount but charged a compulsory extra 10% service charge - a cheek for the poor service and cuisine we recieved.

Visited the Anupam for first time this week with my wife and friends. Our experience started with booking online which was confirmed with a personal response email. Restaurant had simple but effective decor and all in our party commented on cleanliness and design of the toilets. We were served by attentive staff, who, due to Covid 19 regulations were all using protective face visors and masks. The food was amazing ! I ordered a superb tandoori salmon starter with my normal king prawn dhansak with mushroom rice and peshwari nan as the main course. It was all delicious and not only freshly cooked, the staff heated all dishes at the table before serving - a great additional touch. Others in the party commented on the quality of their dishes which all looked and tasted different (which isn't always the case elsewhere). The meal cost £30 per head and included two shared bottles of wine between six. Would definitely go out of my way to eat here again.

We have been a patron of this Indian restaurant for many years. It is our “go to” venue if you want a warm reception and food cooked beautifully and nicely spiced then this is where to go. As a treat we used the al a carte menu (although the Sunday lunch menu is also very good) and the prawn starter was as nice as any I have had for a long time and the chicken Kashmiri biryani is exceptional and not served anywhere else. So for a quality meal you will not be disappointed

Celebrated my 21st birthday with my family. Flavoursome food accompanied with spectacular service. Particularly impressed with the lunch time menu where you can order popadoms with dips, a starter and main for less than £15 per person. The restaurant was very COVID friendly, with a test and trace poster on the door as you enter, a one way system around the restaurant, tables spread out and all staff wearing masks. I even received a free desert of honey comb ice-cream with a candle and a sparkler to top off the whole experience. Thankyou for making even a COVID birthday special :)

The Anupam is a first class Indian restaurant located centrally in Great Malvern and walking distance from the theatre. My partner and I visited this evening for a delicious meal. It's certainly worth asking the staff for their recommendations, as we could of spent hours looking at the menu-spoilt for choice! In the end we had a beautiful piece of tandoori salmon and a duo of HUGE prawns prepared with coconut. These were fabulous! For the main course we picked a couple of vegetable sides (saag aloo and spiced aubergine) to accompany a lamb curry and marinated chicken dish. All were beautifully cooked and thoughtfully spiced. This restaurant is certainly a cut above an 'Indian takaway' and worth the hype. To make the most of what's on offer, steer clear of the regular fare and try the specials or ask the staff to recommend something. We were really pleasantly surprised by new dishes and unusual flavours. The restaurant itself is well presented and intimate with ambient music and lighting, and a team of professional, warm and attentive staff. Highly recommended!

Its been a while since we've been to a not-authentic Indian restaurant. Clearly the progress in London to real Indian food like Dishoom, Dum Biryani, Darjeeling express etc has not reached other areas. Very old style Brick Lane Bangladeshi food masquerading as Indian. Tandoori was good - chicken and prawns- clearly North Indian style but the former served with creamy coconut sickly sweet curry which is a Sputh Indian coastal cusine ????? The curry was brought as an afterthought halfway into the meal. Lamb was chewy, portions were small and overpriced. Only half a chicken tandoori for £12,80 !! Poppadums and chutney is NOT an Indian meal starter. Well placed apart tables and waiters with visors to mansge the situation.

Unless you know where this is the likelihood is that you will walk past and not notice the small alleyway opposite the Tourist Information office on Church Street. It’s a first floor restaurant with about 17 steps to climb. The room is nicely decorated and well laid out. We had not booked but received a warm welcome on Sunday evening and were sat by a window with nice views of the Abbey. The staff were very pleasant and provided good service. Unfortunately there were only a small number of customers on Sunday evening so there was not much atmosphere. The menu offers a great choice and I found it difficult deciding what to have because they all sounded nice, but I ordered the Mirch Wall Murgh and my wife, the Shehnaz Chicken. We shared and really enjoyed them. The flavours of different spices made an amazing combination for the two meals. If you enjoy Asian food, they deserve your business, you won’t be disappointed.

We have just had our first Annupam delivery since lockdown began. We should have done it months ago to be honest. You have to go a long way from Malvern to match the quality of ingredients, subtlety or intensity of flavours and family friendliness of the staff at Annupam. Except we have just discovered that you don't! On the spur of the moment, we ordered online at 6.00pm this evening and the incredibly friendly delivery service was checking our off the beaten track location 50 minutes later and five minutes earlier than the order confirmation had promised. Everything was utterly delicious, as it always has been at Annupam, and plenty left for another night in the week. Can't wait to do it again very soon.

Hands-down the best in the area. We enjoyed a birthday meal at the Anupam and as ever were very impressed by the quality of the food and service. Very attentive service and a great menu that offers truly authentic curries. As a group of six we all shared our starters and main courses, being the affable and sociable people that we are, and every bite was mouth-watering and excellent. The Anupam is undoubtedly somewhere to go for an extra-special treat wherever you hail from, so it’s somewhere I’m particularly happy to have in cosy Malvern!

Thank you for your wonderful review of Anupam. We often find ourselves justifying why our dishes are a little more expensive than some other Indian restaurants. Ultimately, it comes down to how much we need to spend to produce the quality we desire. It makes us happy when diners like yourselves appreciate the quality of produce we serve.

This was a post theatre visit by a group of eight friends. The service was excellent, no issues about having a large party. The food was also excellent - this is a high quality Indian restaurant. We have been visiting Anupam for over 10 years and have no problems in recommending it to anyone. The menu has good guidance (as well as the staff) so if you are not sure about Indian food you can make a start.

We recently visited Malvern and enjoyed our little weekend away, spectacular views etc, we wanted to try this Indian Restaurant but unfortunately we was not that please. We pre-booked on opentable but seated us next to a wall?, we first asked for cocktails and they said they would be around 20 minutes for cocktails and was asked if we waited to order another drink instead so we ordered alternative drinks. We then ordered out starter which was undercooked on arrival. We then ordered out main for which we waited an hour for, at this point I nearly walked out, I questioned the waiter on the were abouts our our main only to be told it is coming. When the main arrived we could clearly see it was rushed as was very bland.... Not a good experience for us i'm afraid...

In a world of unpredictability I can’t tell you how wonderful it was to visit a favourite place, with familiar faces who continue to provide the same excellent service and the most heavenly food. There was a point before we left home where we considered the ‘risk factor’ involved in eating out. I can assure you we had nothing to fear, the staff maintained their space and at no time did we feel compromised. The attention to detail in terms of hygiene was commendable and in no way affected the Anupam experience. The food remains at the epicentre of my earthly delights .. I have no words to compliment the combination of flavours contained within the Rashmi Jingha. I have no idea where I would find a comparable experience. Thank you Anupam for delivering an awesome selection of flavours contained within a divine selection of dishes in such a safe but discreet environment. You and your attentive staff continue to be a constant source of pleasure at this difficult time. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

We ordered a delivery from Anupam last night and the food and service was as always perfect! The website over charged me for delivery and so the driver kindly dropped off my favourite bottle of red wine to apologise. I actually thought the delivery fee was fare so it was a lovely surprise and he even said that next time he could drop the order off on his way home as he only lives round the corner! What a service. I live in Worcester and there has to be 25 indian restaurants but none of them are a patch on Anupam. If you haven’t been do yourself a favour and go.
