Four of us went for lunch. Opinions were varied. The Butty Bach was first rate. The mains were adjudged good by two of us and ok by the other two. My steak was tasty but would have been better with less for want of a better word "gristle". So not full marks there. Chips were fine and desserts were a... More

Although I am quite capable of keeping a secret, it is so hard not to comment openly on The Inn at Welland. We have dined there on a number of occasions, and have never been disappointed with the service or the food. The staff are most accommodating, and always willing to provide as much information as possible on their menu... More

We took a group of 16 guest to the Cheltenham races on 17th March 2017 and they asked for a nice local pub/restaurant to have a meal in on the Thursday 16th evening. From a booking point of view, as the person who organised it, the Inn at Welland was very helpful. As the size of the group was larger... More

We visited The Inn for Sunday lunch for my fathers birthday. I hadn't known of The Inn previously and decided to book after reading the wonderful reviews. The location is set in the Worcestershire countryside, with the backdrop of the Malvern Hills. The interior is lovely and the staff attentive. We ordered a variety of starters, fishcakes, soup and a... More

Having a weekend away in Malvern, I researched places that I could eat at beforehand. I was looking forward to visiting The Inn because of the write-ups and because it advertised that they did gluten-free, vegetarian options. The place wasn't too easy to find but it was worth it. Beautifully decorated and it looked clean and inviting. Even better was... More

We have had the good fortune to visit The Inn on several occasions. For what ever reason good class restaurants tend not to be around for long, However, the real professionals know how to run an excellent establishment, maintaining standards both in the kitchen and front of house. The service is excellent which means a great deal of time training... More

A few years back it was difficult to find a decent restaurant in South Worcestershire. Now there are several. The Inn at Welland, under new(ish) management, boasts an attractive new decor which seems to have overcome the serious problem of noise. It boasts a skilled chef who offers a shortish but well-chosen menu, mostly gastronomic variations on well-loved ingredients but... More

We visited here for a special Sunday Lunch for for my wife birthday. The only slot available when I booked was 2.15 which was fine with us and they accommodated an extra person at short notice. On arrival the place was still busy but we shown to our table straight away. We ordered drinks and were given menus but our... More

Once again a recent visit to Malvern meant we could have a treat and visit the Inn at Welland and sample some more of there beautiful food, I am not a vegetarian but I have found that the risottos at IAW are so packed full flavour that I regularly order them as a main course , hubby being a creature... Our family-run business is now firmly established as a destination dining country inn. We have created a relaxed and friendly ambiance in an eclectic interior, comfortable furnishings and an attention to detail throughout the Inn. Our ethos is simple, to deliver great quality classic food, sourcing fresh products locally. The same attention is applied to our drinks, carefully selected value for money wines from around the world, organic juices, local real ales & ciders and fabulous Nespresso coffee. When the weather is warm, enjoy lazy lunches or evening suppers in our terraced gardens, and in the evening or winter benefit from our outdoor fireplace, cosy wool blankets and our glazed veranda. Want something for a special occasion? Come and dine in private in our library for up to 12 people.
