It was a wet and Windy Tuesday and my (autistic) business gentleman and I went to TWO HOOTS Cafe. Set at the beautiful Devil's Bridge you are surrounded with all things steam train.. I've been before with bikers and we were welcomed with open arms then. This time I took an autistic gentleman who can be very fussy. We asked of he could have breakfast even though it was passed the time, and they unreservedly said yes and served a terrific breakfast. It was served on an amusing "train theme plate" The rain poured and a whole coach load came in, and it took a few hours for them to slowly go quiet. I never once saw any of the staff break the smiles they had, or stopped laughing and joking. Their manner and behaviour was second to none and their service and food was awesome. It really was a shocking weather day and they kept cheerful all the time. It's run by a lovely family, and the owner, a man was a delight, who took pleasure in realising my friend spoke Welsh. He really connected to my friend. One warning, don't fall for his box trick! It does nothing! lol The cafe is just a nice hangout place, which is why bikers love it, but it also has a cute little gift area, and you can sit in or outside. It also has some interesting bird sculptures and you can see the steam trains coming in and out. We had a lovely time and my friend did not stop talking about them and the Two Hoots Cafe. See. you soon guys!

Perfect lunch spot when travelling via the Vale of Rheidol Railway from Aberystwyth to Devil’s Bridge. It’s directly outside the station, with a large seating area (inside and outside), and a great selection of traditional breakfast, lunch and dessert options. We loved our lunch, especially the cheesy chorizo panini, covered in sesame seeds. It was delicious and excellent value for money. They also had a high chair we were able to use for our little boy and the toilets are within walking distance, which had baby changing and disabled facilities.

This is a pop-up cafe in the station grounds operated by young, hard-working staff who serve delicious cakes, sandwiches, some hot options and drinks. There is simple indoor and outdoor seating with tables. The hot chocolate was actually hot...yippee. If its raining its the place to have a cuppa. There is a hotel down the road towards the Devil's Bridge itself that serves alcohol and more extensive meals like roasts etc.

So Henry Cole can’t ride as always the wrong side of the white line and for sure can’t judge a full English breakfast at a good bikers cafe. Served frozen Iceland sausages on paper plates with cold beans and solid tomato’s. I have no idea what other reviewers are seeing but if you are a biker wanting some good breakfast before a full day of riding, chose somewhere else….anywhere else please believe me. Staff were friendly to be fair but I’ll never ever be back Also no signs so you shoot past but I really wish I hadn’t turned around no thanks to Henry Cole. Might have to stop watching his shows now!

Covid is not a good excuse for a poor tearoom . This place has a captive audience straight off the train so they know whats coming. You dont need to use paper plates and cups and have all the cakes all wrapped up. Then charge top prices !! Excuses that you can not wash a cup because of covid is just poor business as other places do a lot better offering in tough times

Sandwiches freshly made on the premises were great, so we bought one to take away too. Plenty of filling a proper bread. If you can't see one you like, they'll make a special one for you. Bara Brith and Welsh cakes were excellent too. If you're eating in (well, just outside in the fresh air) the tea comes in a pot with a china cup and saucer - so nice after cardboard/plastic we've had to suffer in covid times. Will come agin.

You cannot miss the "Two Hoots" tea room if you arrive by steam train from Aberystwyth, it is right opposite the exit, and on the way back from the falls. Inside we were surprised by a life country and western / folk band. The Two Hoots is a nice functional little place, with everything seemingly built of wood. /we enjoyed fresh sandwiches and delicious cake, washed down by teas. Nice place to enjoy the peace of this part of Wales.

Conveniently located next to the steam railway so it's handy to grab a quick snack in the hour you save to explore the town before heading back to the train. Offers a choice of sandwiches, jackets, drinks and cakes. Good value for money and friendly service.

Ordered a cheese burger and it was as if no effort had been put into it at all. The top of the bun was half missing, as if it had been picked off, who knows what had happened, maybe it had been dropped on the floor or stuck to other cheap buns. The burger was tiny and basically microwaved cardboard. The cheese was just grated. All for ÂŁ4.50, no one should ever be served such a disgrace!

Can’t fault the service nor the friendly staff. However when I go to a café and get coffee in a paper cup, and the soup arrives in a paper bowl - half full - with a very small half a bread stick I don’t feel that impressed. Certainly not at that price. There are better places and better value meals within half a mile. This used to be a good stop for bikers but no longer.

We came for the breakfast in this hard to find cafe. The cooked breakfast seemed not to be local produce, was cooked ok and filled a space. The wooden knife and fork and paper plate did not add to the meal, even under COVID you could give a nicer presentation. I won’t be back, a think there are better options locally.

Very well organised as they have a hundred or more passengers descending on them each time a Vale of Rheidol train arrives. Plenty of outside seating, food and prices are fine for what this cafe is and it looks the part as well. A small shop inside with typical tourist favourites. The Devils Bridges ar a short walk away.

We’ve been coming here for a few years now and this visit was not the same. The coffee shop is now charging customers to park while using the cafe, the coffee was pretty grim, the table was wobbly enough to spill coffee and for some inexplicable reason, it was crowded, but became unbearable when the train arrived. £8 for two soft drinks, a coffee and two, not fresh, Welsh cakes.

A little Ramsay at the end of the steam track at devil’s bridge . It could do with some work being done but I have to say the sandwiches were so fresh and tasty. All of our small party commented. I had a gorgeous scone butter and jam. Keep going two hoots!

Although we didn't use the cafe, we sorted out parking for the day here and the staff were really friendly. Two pounds for the day was also really good value . We got back late and they made sure not to lock our car in the car park, which would have been a disaster. Thank you so much
