Visited Tap & Spile on a Sunday afternoon. Ordered the rump steak (medium rare), meat lasagna and roast beef Yorkshire. Lasagna & Yorkshire were great. The steak was tough though. Overall recommended.

Popped in for a quick pint before dinner but seemed a nice pub, proper pub-y pub! Food portions looked very generous and at a great price. Tried some guest cider which got the thumbs up!

Such a great place to have a pint and a bite whilst visiting Bangor Pier. Lovely quirky decor and the staff really friendly. Would definitely recommend and return to this pub.

Lovely traditional pub with friendly staff and a good selection of beers, just a stones throw from the pier. So enjoy the views with a decent pint.

Stayed here 31/8-2/9 and was the most splendid venue for the wake of my closest friend. The landlord Dean was great, put on a fine spread and nothing was too much to ask. We stayed here and for £20 pppn it was great value. There...More
