It was a birthday occassion, the Bistro is small but very cosy. Its also very popular, however I was left feeling a little kind of 'palate confused' - Great welcome and service is faultless, however - the food, in my opinion was a little too 'fussy'. My starter was smoked salmon, and vert tasty, however the little bits around the... More

We went to the restaurant early on a Friday evening with our children. The menu was odd. Each dish we ate was overly sweet - too many sweet sticky sauces on both the starters and main courses as if the chef has a very sweet tooth. The service was also very slow. It took half an hour to get the... More

Thank you for your review. We are very sorry that you did not enjoy your recent meal with us. As a result of your review I am looking at the menus and changing some of the dishes. I have also spoken with all of the front of house staff regarding the slow service. We always take critiscism serriously and have... More

Just tucked away off the high street is this little gem of a restaurant. It very cosy and I would recommend booking as it is very busy. The service was excellent and the waitresses very friendly. The steak was divine so were the chips. we really enjoyed our meal. Next time we are in Conwy we will be returning to... More

We have visited Conwy for short holidays on quite a few occasions but only discovered Watsons Bistro on our trip last weekend. The restaurant is within the town walls and tucked away off Chapel Street. Its not a big restaurant so booking is strongly advised. The food and service are excellent at a good price. There is also a very... More

This is our second visit to this hotel and on this occasion we decided to go for Sunday lunch with friends. As per our first visit the our meal were lovely and freshly cooked. My friend enjoyed his mussel starter very much while my other friends had a very tasty lamb shank lunch (huge portion)! On the other hand i... More

Happened upon this place on a wander around Conwy. According to my son, the roast beef is the best ever!

Personally I think this is one of the nicest places to eat in North Wales, and we make a point of visiting regularly. Lovely local produce (including local brewers), hearty and delicious food, and a cosy, relaxed atmosphere with charming staff. Nb: Booking is a wise idea if you're going for an evening meal. It's a small space and the... More

We had a lovely time here. We were initially seated in the main area where a large group was being a little raucous. When a table became available in a quieter area we were asked if we wanted to move seats even though we had not requested it. That was a really nice touch and was really appreciated. The food...
