visited today for lunch, and had a light lunch of two starters mine seafood chowder with bread and my partners prawn and chorriso salad with garlic bread. Both meals good, though because i don't like cream in my food on reflection ordering this was a mistake on my behalf. Of its kind it was tasty and well cooked with good bread... More

Service was good and food was lovely, the gentleman waiting on gave excellent customer service ,however one young lady needs to smile at customers as part of my career is observing and training/assessing staff in the work place perhaps I tend to be more critical. I observed her seating people and handing out menus all without a smile..as she passed... More

We had an afternoon snack - the pastries were delicious - and returned the following evening for dinner. The restaurant was very busy but that was understandable given the quality of the food. The ingredients were first class and the food was cooked to perfection - we both cleared our plates, despite the portion sizes being generous. The staff were... More

Vistited on a Sunday morning and what an awful experience. The cakes on display looked lovely and the decor is nice so was looking forward to a warm drink and snack. The hot chocolate ordered by the children - good. £5.95 portion of scrambled eggs on toast consisted of 2 slices of toast and a maximum of two rubbery eggs... More

Scenic location of Red Wharf Bay. The river, the sands, the tides. A delight to wander. A pleasant restaurant with facilities for eating outside. (Do tend to get smokers and dogs if you dine outside). They turned the music off which was nice. Good food served efficiently. At a reasonable price. Some interesting specials of sea food, as you might... More

We sat outside the Old Boat House overlooking the sea at Red Wharf Bay. It is in an ideal location and the coffee was good too. An ideal place to stop off for a rest during a beach walk.

Perfect location overlooking the magnificent Red Wharf Bay and well decorate inside however food was average and over priced for what it was, plus tables were messy - granted it was a busy lunchtime but still should clean up after each guest leaves. Service was pleasant enough though. The cakes though pulled up my overall assessment as they were wide... More

Living so close to the location we thought it a crime not to go and visit on our way back from a car ride up the Anglesey coast. Getting out of the car this was the first place that we saw. Lovely on the outside, even nicer on the inside. The type of place you could stay all day in... More

Whilst exploring Anglesey we stopped off at the Old Boat House for afternoon tea. The cakes beckoned, the choice was amazing and they were absolutely delicious. The service location, ambience and service was so good we decided to pop in for an evening meal. The meal was faultless. The steak was cooked to perfection. Once again the service was terrific....
