The premises were closed for refurbishment when we visited and the food and drinks were being provided by way of a mobile snack bar so no awards here for fab meals or content but this is a beautiful location and the outdoor seating on a beautiful sunny day made our visit to Church Bay all the better. Friendly staff and... More

We LOVE the Wavecrest. The food is unexpectedly excellent - hearty, tasty and done with love. The cakes are so good - the chocolate fudge in particular. The pies always look amazing but I tend to end up with my favourite pulled pork bap. Even the coffee is first-rate. The service is truly personal. They care. Prices are higher than... More

Location is fantastic, literally next to Church Bay beach. Visited for lunch during a week's stay on the island, and lucky to have nice weather so sat outside with our dog. Food wise there is a good choice, and the meals we had were nice. Some of the prices are little steep, but I guess the location adds to it!

Situated 50' from the beach. This quaint little cafe serves nice food from friendly staff. At the moment it's closed Monday Tuesday Wednesday. If it's sunny theres an outside eating area on a raised grass bank. If your in the area, maybe walking the coastal path which runs within metres of the cafe, pop in, you won't be disappointed.

We had been fortunate enough to stumble over this huge gem in tiny not even village settings just before they closed for the season...So the young student was going back to uni, the dance teacher back to teaching dancing and an ever so fascinating gentleman who is planing a pizza oven in a horse box, a micro brewery and some... This was the second time I had visited this cafe. The location is beautiful, overlooking the sea and just a short walk up from the beach at Church Bay. The reason I visited a second time was simple, to enjoy once again the magnificent, massive scones that come with jam and cream. Certainly the finest I have tasted. Every time... More

Any cafe that's only open 3 days a week to a full house suggests a top Beatery nes pas. The range of hot and cold lunches was extraordinary, from hot meals, bagettes and salads followed by a large selection of home made cakes and pastries. We ate outside on the easily accessible lawned area across the road as we had... More
