Recently came here with family to celebrate becoming a new dad!! The service, food and choice on the menu were Fantastic. Couldn't fault it at all. It was delicious. The tower stack is juicy, tender and everything you want in a good meal out. The starter was the best I've had, lamb rump with asparagus and something else (see pics)... More

We booked a table last minute. Nice and cosy atmosphere. Staff were welcoming. Although, not sure about the other guests. It seems seeing coloured people came as a shock to them. Food was nice and price reasonable. I would visit again.

We booked a table for 2 quite late but the Ty Gwyn were able to accommodate us although we had to eat in the bar, which was fine. We had the Shepherd's pie and Seafood Gratin and both were very good. The staff were all friendly and helpful, and we would definitely recommend this restaurant.

We went for a family meal in Ty Gwyn recently. Having never been before, we chose it as we had heard good things. It did not disappoint. Lovely building with a cosy atmosphere. We were a fairly large party and had a little room to ourselves. All staff were very accommodating and friendly. The only thing I would say I... More

This was the fourth time we've dined at the Ty Gwyn - always taken as a reward after a day in the mountains . As usual the meal did not disappoint- everything was cooked, presented and served to a very high standard- a great meal after a great day in Snowdonia

Glad we stayed 2 nights as the experience was one never to be repeated given the history and charm of this interesting B&B...built around 1636 as a coach stop/"house"? We recommend dining in (& booking) especially on the first night as the street lighting nearby isn't v good + it's on a main road + quite a walk to the... More

We ate here in July and again in October and were not disappointed. The place is full of character with a comprehensive and interesting menu with lots of fresh seafood choices mixed in with traditional options. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Even on a Tuesday evening in October the restaurant was fully booked with locals and... More
