After a beautiful 2.5 mile walk, we arrived at this lovely hotel/restaurant a bit ahead of our booking, (essential!), but we were shown into a comfy lounge and were able to order drinks and start reading the Menu. There is a massive choice of delicious sounding food, and my crayfish, prawn tian was beautiful, followed by the Fillet Mignon roulade,... More

We went for dinner after reading good things and it did not disappoint, the food was excellent, but the service was a little lacking we had booked and were shown to the worst table in the restaurant it's a little round one heavily carved so things fall over !!!!! They forgot to take our drinks order then forgot the wine... More

Lovely 16th century eatery, big menu which was a little concerning but the food we had was amazing. Go for the Welsh burger!

Although in a lovely historic pub this has a wonderful restaurant menu.. We ate in the pub and not the dining room but the menu was the same.. Food choice was varied and wonderful. Three of us ate their and all choose different meals. From starters to main and sweets the food was presented well, hot and delicious. Cannot fault... More

Ty Gwyn is probably the best restaurant in Betws-y-coed. Very nicely decorated, excellent food and outstanding service. Its busy, so reservation will be needed most of the time. They surprised us with very well prepared and nicely served food. Staff was accommodating with finding a nice table. Highly recommended, you will not regret!

The menu is extensive with lots of options for starters and main courses, which we were told change daily, but we think they would do better to offer a smaller range of higher quality dishes. My Husband asked for a dairy free dish, so was advised against the moules marniere because they were already cooked in butter (not a great... More

On holiday locally and were recommended this restaurant. We kept it for the last day treat and a treat it certainly was. We found booking ahead a few days in advance is essential because they are so busy. The place is set up in a very old fashioned theme with many antique looking items furnishing the place. I've got to... More

Came here on a Sunday evening after having been previously in 2012 which was one of the best meals we've had. I have to say I wish we hadn't returned and spoiled the memory. Main let down was the food, starters of mussels and scallops to be fair were very tasty and to a previous standard. However the mains...my wife had... More
