Ate far too much! Beautiful food, well presented. Excellent service and compliments to the chef! Managed to squeeze in a dessert - bread and butter pudding, what a treat.

Superb dinner - food without fault and wonderfully warm, cheerful service from Michelle made the evening the best we've had in Wales. 5 star. Amazing views too.

After a year of being in Betws Y Coed we tried the riverside restaurant for the first time and loved it. We were greeted with a warm friendly smile and throughout the whole evening the staff were attentive and real pro's. The food was very good and the river valley view really made the evening.

Our server, Mostyn, was very attentive, described the deishes and where the main ingredients were sourced. We know where the beef and sausages come from and also where the beer is brewed. Booked a table at the Craig-y-Ddderwen restaurant for a quiet Monday night. Michelle was a fantastic host and escorted us to comfy seats by the open fire where we enjoyed our drinks and ordered our meal. It was great that we were taken through to the dining room only when our meal was ready which gave us time to enjoy... More

We stopped here for afternoon tea, what a gem, the view in the Gardens with the river created a fantastic atmosphere to enjoy thoroughly enjoyable scrumptious afternoon tea. We would definitely stop here again when visiting Betws Y Coed.

We had two evening meals here and the food is simply amazing. My husband had steak and he said it was cooked to perfection, exactly the way he wanted it. They even brought out the steak to show him before serving it up. Top quality food from a top quality chef. Lovely romantic atmosphere with excellent staff - attentive but... More

We ate at the Riverside Restaurant at Craig-y-Dderwen on our first night in the Snowdonia region. The atmosphere was lovely, and the food great. We sat in the bar / lounge area while we ordered our drinks and food, then sat and sipped our wine while we waited for our food to be ready. Once our starters were nearly ready... More
