Very dog friendly pub and lovely food. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Good choice of food. Very large TV supplying plenty of sports.

We ate here for the first time and were really impressed with the food and service alike. Visited Betws y Coed for a 50th birthday so wanted somewhere nice to eat, this place was perfect, starters were brought out quickly as were drinks, mains were lovely, the host was a lovely chap, attentive but not over the top, really friendly -... We even took our dog on a miniature train ride. To cap a very pleasant morning we had a superb lunch in a dog friendly area at the Gwydyr... More

Decent stay at this hotel. Downstairs the bar and restaurant had been recently renovated, but the bedrooms (or the one we used) still needed a professional renovation. The rooms were spotless but the finishing touches to the decor let it down.
