We called in for dinner when visiting Brecon on a Canal Boat holiday. Pub was large and spacious inside with plenty of seating. Barman was very chatty and friendly and a lady called Di took our food order at the table and served the meals...More

A very popular pub with a good garden and very swish loos. Excellent pint of Butty Bach and a good selection of typical pub grub including a pensioners 2 course special for £7.50 on Wednesdays.

Ok, so we don't go to many pubs any more so it's a little difficult to write a review of a good old fashioned pub as we can't possibly compare this establishment to anything else we know however, and to be honest, I didn't know...More

For us it is just a regular pub with some average food served. Beers are good, service is very friendly (and good-looking :-) but that's it.

We had dinner at The Clarence last night, delicious food, friendly service. A pint of Butty Buch goes down well too.

Hi Ian Sorry but we're a bit late in replying as we don't look a TA daily. Though it may be late the answer is yes we happily accept children in the pub. Didn't want you to think we were ignoring you. Many thanks Roger

The Clarence Inn is a "Pub that does food!" Our aim is to provide quality food and drink in a pleasant and friendly environment, with the attraction of a large beer garden with real grass and occasional sunshine. Home cooked Sunday lunches are extremely popular so booking is advisable. And cooking your own steak on one of our super heated rocks is definitely worth a try.
