Went to Wagamama last night. Ordered a chicken fire cracker curry. When it arrived I thought it was the wrong dish as it was full of chucks of green and red pepper. I did find 3 small pieces of chicken. I pointed this out to the waiter, who replied "I do not measure out the quantity of the ingredients "... More

I come here regularly with my friend from work, it's our special place where we can eat quickly and on a budget. I am also a member of the Slimmingworld cult, and find it to be the best place to eat in Cardiff while being 'on-plan'. In other words- the lowest calorie meals. I never feel like i'm missing out... I'm a little cautious in trying new types of food, but I was pleasantly surprised with Wagamama's selection of Japanese classics. Wagamama is also quite good for people who may be just gluten-sensitive, like myself, or even a sufferer of coeliac disease. Their dishes can often be modified to suit customer requirements and, fortunately, Japanese soy sauce contains little or... More

Myself and my boyfriend visited today for the first time! It has been recommended by many friends. We were slightly apprehensive as we've never experienced it before, but went with what we thought we would enjoy. We chose a ramen each as this was recommended by friends as something to start us off as beginners.. unfortunately my boyfriend did not... More

Called in lunch time for my first Wagamama visit and pleasantly surprised. It was busy and vibrant, the food wax fresh and delicious, especially the firecracker curry which is not for whimps. Wagamama reminds me of some of the noodle bars around, long benches and fast food. If you like this style food, you'll love it.

Wagamama is always reliable - friendly welcome, great food freshly cooked, attentive and fast service. This one is on the edge of the main shopping area in Cardiff - highly recommended.

VENUE This modern restaurant is located in the heart of Cardiff's shopping district, five minutes away from the train station. This is a nice part of town to be in, and the restaurant itself is also clean, bright, and attractive. The only downside is the bench style seating, which can be a little uncomfortable. FOOD The food is delicious. My... More

In Japanese, our name means 'naughty child', or 'one who is wilful and determined'. We opened our first doors in London's Bloomsbury in 1992. Inspired by fast-paced, Japanese ramen bars and a celebration of Asian food, we set out to create a unique way of eating, bringing the fresh, nourishing, flavours of Asia to all.
