Had lunch with a group of friends, and between us we covered the meat, fish and vegetarian options. Everyone.enjoyed their meal, and the soup,of the day was particularly good. Starters and puddings were good, too. Service was friendly and helpful, if a little slow. There...More
Visited for lunch today - my last experience of eating in this, my local pub, was in August 2015 and I thought it might have improved, but sadly no. There was a bit of a wait for our meal as they had a big (and...More
Dear CathieB, Thank you for taking the time to feedback with regards to your recent (and previous) visit to the Maltsters Llandaff. I can only apologise that you felt that the standard of the food and the price charged was under-par. We, at The Maltsters,...More

Stopped by for a drink on my way passed and wished I hadn't. It doesn't look too bad from the outside, but it is overpriced, the service is rude in the extreme and the glass was dirty.
Was with a group of about 20. Pub insisted we all pre-order the day before, and they still managed to get the order wrong - and were then grumpy when this was pointed out. Food was nice enough: I had whitebait, followed by some fairly...More
Looked forward to another Sunday lunch today at maltsers but let down badly by the roast potatoes. Hard not crunchy and no taste. Maybe frozen. Expectations were high from previous times so very disappointed. We won't be back.
