Florentines is owned and run by a person who provides the very best of home made baking and cooking,if in Penarth town it is the place to head for.

Florentines has now become two separate businesses, occupying neighbouring premise . One remains as a patIsserie and retains the name Florentines. The other is now a continental delicatessens and smokers, names The Olive Deli and . They sell a wide range of delicious foods here, including oil an vinegars and continental cheeses and meats . As we entered florentines we where welcomed with a warm smile from the friendly staff. it was fairly busy as it was approaching the lunch rush hour. This coffee shop is a joy! All the cakes are made on the premises and the coffee and hot chocolate are delicious. During my last visit a group of ladies arrived and organised the tables to suit their needs. I visited here for lunch to find it packed on an otherwise quiet and wet Saturday. On a mixed adult and kids table we ordered several different items.
