First off, instead of tiramisu, a "matchamisu"? Fantastic. Would order again. Great food, a nice range from sushi, ramen, soups, even lunch-time deals. Very friendly atmosphere from the staff, spacious resteraunt and easily reached from town centre or the bay itself. I only regret not...More

Cannot fault Yakatori, the food is amazing and fresh. It's nice going to a independent restaurant and eating authentic food.

Ordered from the take-out lunch menu, I had the Tempura chicken salad and it was excellent, so yummy! The salad was tasty, but not too soaked and the chicken was cooked perfectly. A friend of mine had the sushi and dumplings which was amazing, the...More

I tried to go vegetarian for a while but when I saw my friend eating this tender filet of beef with sticky rice, I had to try! I was not disappointed. For the price we paid I did not expect to get the best cut...More

Was recommended this by John, been onto me for ages saying how good the food was. I just wished I listened to him earlier. Food was stunning and the service friendly. I had the duck ramen and it's the best I've had. Already planning my...More

Came here (again) on a trip to Cardiff. Was absolutely lovely. We had a mix of small plates and maki rolls which all went down a treat. We also had dessert, which we really enjoyed. Haven't had mochi since my time in San Francisco and...More

My brother john recommended this restaurant to me, being new to sushi, the restaurant owner Meng, spent plenty of time with us recommending dishes. Nothing was too much trouble. Very friendly and welcoming place, highly recommend the food here. A must visit!

Me and my friend got here to try out the food. Some dishes were okay but some just not that good. The food was pricey for its taste.

Thanks for the feedback and we do offer authentic Japanese dishes from sashimi to ramen all the way to desserts such as mochi.

Had several dishes mostly good, but mixed sashimi was mixed in terms of quality, salmon, tuna good, surf clams okay, sea bass v poor. Also the wasabi is not real wasabi (as with most UK Japanese restaurants).
