We were staying in Cardiff and wanted a Mexican and after reading the reviews decided to locate this 'restaurant' for our evening meal. We found it - went in to ask for a table only to be told they were not open until September but they could provide us with a take away. Needless to say we refused. So Speedy... More

Ordered the fajitas- while they came hot and the portion size was good, the food itself wasn't great. No real flavour and felt like I should have cooked them from scratch myself with a much better result. Disappointing.

Delicious takeaway - better quality food than most big-chain Mexicans in Cardiff. Owner was also a lovely person - great to speak to on the phone and when picking up. Thanks for the complimentary cheesecake too!

We ordered a takeaway and when the food arrived it was cold, soggy and had no flavour. When we phoned to complain the customer service was awful. We spoke to the manager who said that she felt there was nothing wrong with the food. We said there was a problem and she told us 'you must be wrong' and that... More

Was very disappointed when I saw that Daiquiris had gone, but then realised that it's still there and has been rebranded - therefore don't be put off!! The inside is the same except the bar has been extended. The menu is slightly different as they now offer Paella, but they still have the Onion Ring Tower on the menu -... More

We were the only table in the restaurant and they forgot to bring our drinks which isn't ideal but they did arrive before the meal. The food was piping hot which seems to be unusual these days and was a nice change. However, we had chimichangas and these appeared to be grilled (rather than deep fried as they should be)... More

I came here the other day with some friends and I had wanted to try it out for some time! Staff were really friendly. I love the choice of the two menus, the normal menu and then the street food form which we chose in the end. Although the got one of the orders wrong, the gave us two free... More

Having been regular customers of Daiquiri's for years, we were keen to see the changes their rebrand to Amigo's would bring. Especially having perused their online menus beforehand and having seen the "Mexican street food" concept advertised, which appeared to offer a much reduced menu of simply nachos, burritos or paella. Imagine our surprise to turn up and find that... More
