Every time I go to Belfast I make sure to go to Avoca for lunch. The food is simply delicious - made from fresh, local produce. The restaurant is a perfect place to go to with family or friends and offers a great selection of foods, whether it be for brunch, coffee or lunch. I recommend the superfood salad -... More

Great brunch stop in an area with few breakfast options. Highly recommend the poached eggs with sour dough bread and avocado. Caters for all tastes and not over priced. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Can get busy at lunchtime.

A group of people from work, including two young babies, met here on Sunday for a late lunch. The restaurant was busy but there were plenty of staff, nobody seemed to be in charge and the entire experience was disorganised. We had to clear our own table but we waited in vain for it to be wiped, we had to... More

Went with my mum for a lunch date! Avoca is lovely! Perfect location in Victoria square! The lunch hall where we ate is very unique! And extremely busy- just shows how good the food is! The decor is very Chabby chique. Lovely atmosphere. Instead of individual tables there a large long tables with lots of seats! Wide range of home... More

Have been a few times and called in for lunch with my wife on a cold Sunday afternoon. Place was busy, but only had a 5/10 minute wait before shown to our table. Jug of fresh water with us minutes after we sat down and order taken. Two lovely burgers and chips with a dips and onion relish appeared very... More

I called into Avoco just after 2pm. The restaurant was full which was great to see so I went to the cafe area which had calmed down after the lunchtime rush. I had cheese and ham quiche with 3 (enormous) portions of salads. The quiche was of excellent with delicious crisp buttery pastry. The salads, from a large selection, were... More

I usually love this restaurant but after our visit on Saturday I don't think I would be in a rush back. Dirty tables everywhere with customers clearing tables themselves, we had to clear a table just to get a seat, the table next to us, the mother, after clearing the table had to take a baby wipe to it, she... Visited for Sunday lunch at around 3 pm and the cafe was relatively quiet. Sat for approx. 30 minutes and in that time failed to have our orders taken, even for drinks. Unable to catch the eye of any of four/five waitresses who were serving later tables and clearing up. Decided in the end to leave hungry and totally forgotten... More
